Regressive Rock
a style of music that emerged in the 2000’s. regressive rock is commonly characterized by relentless use of 4/4 time, unimaginative lyrics, mundane 4 minute verse-chorus-verse-chorus-bridge-chorus song structures and lengths, and generally untalented musicians. instrument choice is limited to guitar b-ss and drums.
