when a person on facebook or any other social networking site sees they have few friends on the site, they go and request everyone they know to be friends.
bob: wow joe has 1500 facebook friends!
mark: he probably went on a few request rampages.
facebook: bill became friends with ryan and 35 other people.
you: -sigh-, this reminds me i gotta go on a request rampage soon.
