an act of reply courtesy occurs when you are forced to keep the conversation going by either creating awkwardness or changing the subject because the person you or texting or instant messaging replies with a conversation killer, words such as, “ha, yeah, mhm, lol, ect.”
“wow, the girl i’m texting keeps using conversation killers, i’m just not going to reply.”
