responsitunity
this word came to my mind while talking to a friend regarding how i was doing.
when your manager gives you a new “responsibility” and presents it to you as an “opportunity”. this is known as a “responsitunity” and has absolutely no additional income, stock, comp days, benefits or t-tle tied to it. this new opportunity is in fact a new responsibility which adds to the pile of other existing responsibilities that fill up our days and sometimes nights..
i received a new responsitunity today during the account planning session with the regional vp.
