Revenge Delay
an act of spite in response to a communication attempt that garners an unreasonable delay without satisfactory justifications.
sanjeev sends a text message to adam. adam does not reply for one week and does not apologize for or explain the delay. afterward, adam sends a text message to sanjeev. sanjeev also waits one week as a revenge delay to reply to adam.
