ritual viewing
verb. american phrase. it means to watch television in a trance-like state. some might call it being a couch potato, but it is of a higher power and purpose as described by the tv ministry, the tv worshiping religion.
“lay down your false idols and turn to our real god. the one you and i have worshiped for years– the television!”
i was ritual viewing last night to seinfeld, it was enlightening.
