Rocktober
an informal celebration of rock music taking place every year in the month of october. it may apply to any genre of rock and roll, however it is most often connected to the ‘cl-ssic rock’ genre. a typical rocktober fan may be described as a beer-drinking, mulleted and/or older rock aficionado.
q97, the local cl-ssic rock station, sponsored a rocktober concert/celebration featuring various rock legends of the 1970’s.
thirty one days of drunken good times! lots of laughing, lots and lots of drinking, pretty girls, cute guys, shmokin’ hot times!!!!!
one time, during rocktober………..
first used in 2007 when the colorado rockies made it to the postseason. now used by baseball fans, especially bandwagon fans whenever the rockies are doing great.
