1. a negative nancy in some senses. an utterly pessimistic b-st-rd with no real future. probably has a few children, all of which hate him/her. this person is most likely divorced.
2. another term for a cl-ssical language teacher, who consequently, has no real future.
that high-school latin teacher is a real rodde. that guy has nothing going for him!
