rule 65 of the internet:
any use of the word “irony” on the internet is incorrect.
person 1, posting on an internet forum: “dude, you totally don’t understand irony. irony isn’t just a simple coincidence, it’s more than that. way to go, alanis.”
person 2: “i’m going to go ahead and invoke rule 65 here.”
when no other rule can be applied to a situation, rule 65 applies.
hank: “oh man, there’s nothing to do…we’ve been sitting here forever…”
