russian hardbass
a popular russian music genre popular amongst gopnik. it combines speed-up hip-hop beats with a b-ss heavy ear melody. there aren’t always lyrics but when there are, the lyrics are usually similar to what american pop music talks about only in russian.
when i went to russia, i drank vodka with a bunch of gopnik dudes at a bar and listened to russian hardb-ss the whole time i was there.
