any person whose fandom for a certain thing takes the form of a constant irritating sales pitch for those unfamiliar with or not already into said thing.
“i was in a cd store, trying to get my friend to buy this folk-rock record, when some emo ‘salesfan’ overheard us and b-tted in, trying to tell us that rock was dead and how if we really wanted to hear good music, we’d check out the ________ band.”
