an extreme offshoot of liberal politics which first emerged with the presidential primary campaign of independent senator bernie sanders to the detriment of american progress and the ideals of liberalism.
these adherents, “the saliban” subject politicians, leaders, pundits and their own hard-working liberal friends and family to liberal purity testing, thus discounting and inhibiting progress at large.
“akin to the taliban’s “morality policing” the saliban, in their virulent take-down of consistently liberal advocates like hillary clinton, elizabeth warren and corey booker is the equivalent of honor killing american democracy.”
