at first glance this appears to be the union of two common names (sam and lee) but actually the taxonomy includes reference to samson (samson is a herculean figure, who is granted tremendous strength by g-d to combat his enemies and perform heroic feats unachievable by ordinary humans) and the general lee, a car driven by the duke cousins (dukes of hazard) which was known for it’s high jumps and stunts.
