sanctimonious snowflake

someone who is usually of a high socio-economic background, not necessarily of a particular race or ethnicity, who tries to appear morally superior to someone else in actions or words, but the moment they are challenged, they say “i’m just doing this because i like you/ i’m your friend/ i want to help you!” also a complete hypocrite, not only a conservative, but also a liberal. they think their ideas are what everybody else wants and needs, and god forbid somebody else not follow their advice/ ascribe to their philosophy. a special mention must go to missionaries, i mean peace corps people going to foreign lands to civilize, i mean “help” those savages. god help the savages if they don’t immediately appreciate the gift of help they’ve been given.
bob: “i think you have an att-tude problem. if you were just nicer to people, you would be a better person.”
paul: “what does that advice even mean?”
bob: “i’m just telling you this to help you because i like you. there’s no need to give me an att-tude!”
paul: “no you’re a sanctimonious snowflake. you are highfalutin, and got upset that i a dared to talk back to you.”
