derogatory term used to refer to people of mexican descent. (it should be noted that the term does not loosely refer all individuals of hispanic culture, but rather only those of mexican descent. unlike the common term wetback, the term “sand eater” does not denote the individuals legal status in the u.s.)
i’m sick of all the d-mn sand eaters always hangin’ around the parking lot of the home depot looking for work.
