Saru mo ki kara ochiru
kanji: 猿 も 木 から 落ちる
a j-panese proverb, literally ‘even monkeys fall from trees’.
used largely in admonition, the implied meaning of this proverb is that anyone can make a mistake. often used to keep the arrogant or overconfident in check.
