the creator of the pokémon franchise, the producer of the gba game drill dozer (screw breaker in j-pan) and the founder of the video game company game freak. he loved to collect bugs as a child and got into gaming through anime, manga, and arcades. sp-ce invaders. he also has asperger’s syndrome, which makes him quite eccentric and reclusive but also very creative. he has been friends with shigeru miyamoto for years and looks up to him. satoshi (ash in the us) was named after him and is basically tajiri when he was a kid and satoshi’s (ash’s) rival (gary) was named after miyamoto as a tribute.
