a weekend day in which some friends drink large amounts of alcohol are consumed, revealing a type of alter ego that is loud, arrogant and obnoxious. the “abe” comes from a play on the word obnoxious, with the change going from “ob” to “abe.” hence when someone expects to be sh-tfaced they might say, “abe (noxious) will be out tonight.” this can also occur on other nights, such as fridabe.
“hey man, last weekend we were sat-rdabe by 5pm. abe was out in full force that night.”
