scarlet fever blanket
a wooly, scratchy, undesirable blanket. in a traditional sense: a red wool camp blanket with a couple of large gray or black stripes on it. similar to a camp blanket that white settlers would trade to native americans, and unintentionally p-ss along scarlet fever.
i have a scarlet fever blanket in the back of my jeep…so we could load the firewood into my car if you want.
