many people confuse scene kids and emos b/c they wear similiar clothing and sometimes have similiar styles. both wear small band tee’s they buy at their concerts even though they like different music. some scence guys wear girl pants as well as some emos making them even more easily confused.

scence kids and emo kids are very different mainly in the type of music they like and their outlook on life in general. scence kids are fun and usually are at local concerts/parties. emo kids are sad and usually stay at home and write poetry and check their mysp-ces.
scene kid: “i cant wait to go to my concert and mosh”

emo kid: “i cant wait to go to my concert and sob at this life’s black abyss that is my heart”

scene kid: “ok…bye”

scene vs emo
scenes are much like emos, but they tend to be generally more upbeat. they often like somewhat similar music but usually something more mainstream or pop inspired, however while the music may be similar the fashion is not. emo is fashion is often inspired by the music they listen to, sometimes dark and heavy, sometimes bright. they usually choose a style to suit them and their taste. scene kids however, dress in more colorful apparel, and usually are not inspired by something else but enjoy style in which is presented. both are known to wear peircings, tattoos, have unaturaully colored hair, and wear tight clothing, but not always, these are just commons. before you go labeling scene as a bubbly emo or emo as a depressed scene, remember: they are not the same. each are very different in many ways, they make their own choices and while they are related, they do have their own seperating points. as a side note i would like to clear some common ideas people have of both.

emos- they are not all suicidal and wrist-cutters. it’s the overly shared idea that if you like dark music or dark clothing you must be thinking utterly dark thoughts about self-harm, not true. it’s not unheard of to be an emo that lives a happy life.

scenes- they are not false emos. they are not posuers. they just enjoy similar things with a difference. things aren’t always as they seem and negatives judgments should not be made based on simularity.
scene vs. emo

emo- “man i can’t wait to jam out to this new cd i just found when i went to buy some eyeliner and a shirt from my favorite band.”

scene- “ooh, have you seen my new top yet? it’s really bold, i got it in zebra to wear with my yellow skinny jeans. you know, like the ones that singer has?”
scene and emo are similar styles, i would call it categories, emo stands for emotional. you listen to hard rock and emotional songs if ur emo. scene is kind of the same, with the difference that scene people are not that emotional. some people say that the difference is that emo people cut themselves. sometimes, sometimes no. scene have mostly a colorful hair.

im not a scene/emo expert but im kinda scene. i know as much emo as scene people and i know a little. no need be called f-cked up lifes, or f-gs or anything offencive just cuz theyre different. and no ones different, everyone is special.
scene vs. emo
come on its not a war…
i have read a lot about ‘scene kids vs. emo kids’ a lot lately and i have to say; you’re all incredibly stupid.
scene & emo both originate from musical influence however both became unfortunate fashion trends. scene kids are not eletists with crazy hair and dumb kiddy shirts. emo kids are not whiny, wrist cutting teenagers who hate life. ‘scene’ and ’emo’ are just unfortunate slang for trendy kids competing for attention. no matter how much we want ‘scene’ and ’emo’ to mean what they use to it’s time to accept that the youth of today have fokked up again.
so what are the true definitions of scene and emo? well, they are certainly not referring to trendy children.

scene vs emo
scene – kids who want to be emo, even though they have a fine outlook on life. mostly dress like emos, listen to the same music as emos etc.

emo – people who self-harm, and are depressed. sometimes dress in the traditional emo style, though some prefer to be un-known as an emo. too many people joke about emos, self harm and suicide is a serious problem.

many people think that the children’s backpacks and skinny jeans are what makes someone emo…if the person seems to be having a good time, the majority of the time, they will be scene, not emo.
scene vs emo

basically what is said above…

a scene kid will dress like an emo, which makes it hard to determine a real emo.
there is a difference. the “emo” kids are little f-ckers who dont know if theyre gay or straight. theyre are wannabe scene people. some of them cut their wrists because of how f-cked up they are or their life is. all they do is listen to gay bands who are also f-cked up, and write fake suicide letters to put on their wall so they can cry about their problems more realistically.

scene kids are the coolest people. they dress very artistically and creatively. they listen to cool music that doesnt sound like pure sh-t. some scene kids mix it up every now and then and wear a plain polo with tight pants just to mock preps and other people who think they look good.
overall scene kids are the best because theu dont give a f-ck about emo posers or preps because they are p-ssy f-ggots.
scene vs emo = f-ck you
