the act of throwing half-used ketchup sachets onto old ladies’ cars. the term is often used to refer to other condiments, although in its original intended form the term does not extend this far.
i can’t believe those kids outside the church had the gaul to enter in to a round of schmupping after we so kindly offered them a meal.

the art of idle and unfavourable gossip/bad-mouthing centred around either a celebrity or civilian that is of shared interest to a group of people.
schmupping targets are usually co-workers, ex-partners, and anyone famous.
