a situation in which an opportunity for a joke is ruined due to one’s poor timing and/or inability to speak.

hails from franklin, m-ssachusetts. to define the comedic timing of alex scofield. it basically means that you try to say something funny, but because you have terrible comedic timing it just comes out dumb, and no one laughs. it can also be used in the sense that if you stutter over your words while trying to say something funny it f-cks up the comedic timing.
