scrample
a scr-p as a sample. a representative sample of a thing, made by removing a scr-p of the original item. used mainly in remodeling homes, boats, etc., where the original item is too large to be brought whole to a paintshop for color matching or a lumberyard for comparison to available products.
go get a scrample of that siding so we can match the grooves at the store.
