the act of taking a screenshot within a screenshot, exactly like the movie “inception”, where the characters created dreams within dreams. most often done while facetiming as an awkward gesture.
setting: a boy and a girl facetiming past midnight
boy: i was just about to- … what did you just do?
girl: i took a screenshot of you.
boy: fine i see how it is. i’m going to go to bed i’ll talk to you tomorrow.
girl: ok, good night.
-the next day-
girl: i saw your text. how did you get a picture of me.
boy: i zoomed in on the screenshot you sent me, and screenshoted you in the corner of the facetime thing.
girl: why did you screenshotception me. you’re a creepy person.
