an indie rock band from leonardo, nj. their two hits “i’m freer than you” and “extra creditooo” contain several of the musical gestures they would be known by. singing like a f-ggot, as each of them does, is one of them. later, chorus teachers and voice instructors alike would come to use the phrase “sc-mmer grundle” to discourage students who never really had a chance anyway.
