secateurs

secateurs are mini garden shears used to cut back plants from soft plants to hardwood material. usually consist of having the top blade sharp and the other blunt: depending on the make. they also require the effort of making a fist for it to close.

secateurs don’t need to be sharpened but they may need to be filed if the blade gets stiff.

they also have a habit of getting blunt. making cuttings a harder job.
