in any sales or call center environment a second voice is the use of a second voice to soften the customer into making an otherwise perhaps unwanted purchase/investment/decision. this is basically using the advantage of having a third party enter the relationship and manipulate the customer. this can be used at any stage of the relationship, whenever an agent feels that -ssistance is needed to make a sale.
