Selective color
the horribly outdated and tacky way newbie photographers show off their brand new editing skill. editing a photograph so that a part of it is in color and the rest is in black and white. while this edit does work in some rare occasions, selecting parts of the photo with no relevance adds to the hatred of this dying fad.
…then she asked the photographer to edit her kids jeans using selective color. what is so special about those jeans, and why do they need to outshine her darling children?
