senior name
a senior name is what one changes his or her facebook name to during senior year of high school. the idea is that when applying to colleges, it is best to keep the theoretically detrimental content of ones facebook profile hidden from colleges who may search a prospective student online.
very often a senior name is a pun on ones name, or a play on words.
jimmy landstone: “for my senior name, i think i’m going to make the last e in my name backwards like in eminǝm – so it’s jimmy landstonǝ.”
summer martinez: “oh i’m making my senior name winter martinez, haha.”
