the expectation of one’s date, male or female, to receive an additional gift of monetary value for providing s-xual favors during or after a date. a service charge occurs when money has already expended over the course of a date. for example, after an individual pays for an expensive dinner, concert tickets, or other dating event and his or her date expects an additional gift of monetary value after putting out during or after the date. for example, the expectation flowers, jewelry or other gift be provided the next day for his or her s-xual performance.
