sexual pendulum
a s-xuality that is very fluid or fluctuates often.
imagine two perpendicular lines. one of them is a continuum between 100% as-xual one one end and 100% hypers-xual on the other end. the other line is a continuum between strictly h-m-s-xual on one end and strictly heteros-xual on the other end. their s-xual preference falls in random spots respective to those two lines, as if you were to dangle a pendulum above them and swing it in a circle.
some days, sally feels as-xual, but other days she feels hypers-xual. sometimes she likes girls, sometimes she likes boys, sometimes she likes nonbinary people, sometimes she does not prefer either of the two nor anything in between. sally labels her fluid s-xuality as the s-xual pendulum.
