Shanding
adj. to tap or rap (with your fingers or a pen, for example) repet-tively on a desk, keyboard or other solid object. done in order to cause annoyance to other people close by to you, especially at work or school where you need to concentrate. invariably perpetrated by people who think it’s cool to do so, along with other annoying habits such as pen clicking.
