share i tbed
a joke within the runescape community for when someone gets lucky with a high value drop or stake (gamble). “share, i tb’ed” means “share the loot, the teleport blocked the victim.” the term used to refer to player-killing teams, who normally would have a specific person to teleport block the victim, preventing them from escaping. the teleport blocker would receive a portion of the profits for doing this, and the term came from this. now, it’s used as a joke when players recieve high level drops or items, such as a draconic visage or godsword hilt.
player 1: “omfg i just got an armadyl hilt guys!!”
player 2: “share i tbed.”
