Sheila’s Rule


a fairly simple rule, generally used in domestic situations, which dictates that when you vacate your seat, you have no automatic right to sit back there when you return. once empty, a seat is open to anybody to sit in, irrespective of the circ-mstances that caused the previous occupant to vacate it.
person a – “excuse me, i was sitting there!”
