Shichinin-tai
the group of seven mercenaries (‘shichinin-tai’ means ‘seven-man army’) from the anime/manga inuyasha. ten years before the main inuyasha story takes place, they are decapitated by those who fear their power. naraku revives them in hopes that they can kill inu-tachi, kouga, and sesshoumaru for him.
the seven members are as follows:
bankotsu
jakotsu
suikotsu
renkotsu
ginkotsu
mukotsu
kyoukotsu
the -kotsu at the end of each of their name means ‘bone’, referring to the fact that they were revived after being nothing more than a pile of bones.
the shichinin-tai were, without a doubt, the best villains in inuyasha.
