when everything turns out extremely horrible!
last night was really a sh-tshow; i’m telling you!!
a description of an event or situation which is characterized by an ridiculously inordinate amount of frenetic activity. disorganization and chaos to an absurd degree. often -ssociated with extreme inept-tude/incompetence and or sudden and unexpected failure.

a perfect storm of everything going wrong.
there’s a sh-tshow going on at work: they’re promoting the guy everyone hates, firing the people everyone loves and no one’s getting raises.
the state of drunkenness in which the drinker is euphoric, constantly dancing, vibing, or vogueing, professing their love for people they shared a night cl-ss with last semester, and completely oblivious to the awkward situations they create. usually accompanied by a strange “dance move” involving one hand over the face and the other high in the air; the hand holding the drink being the one up high, as it spills on those surrounding the drinker. the drinker may or may not remember his or her actions.
caitlin: did you see eric last night?
marlee: oh, my god. yes. he was a total sh-tshow.
caitlin: yeah, especially when he grabbed my hand and some girl i’ve never seen and begged for us to be best friends…
marlee: like i said, what a sh-tshow.
used when “shenanigans” is just not adequate. a sh-tshow denotes general craziness, debauchery, drug and/or alcohol use, drama and sheer insanity all occurring simultaneously. one does not usually realize the sh-tshow is occurring until the following day.
ex: leah: oh my god. can you believe what happened last night?
skyy: girl, that was f-cked up. what a sh-t show!
the most over-used reference to a night of intoxication with friends that ultimatley leads to moments of blackness and dissaray. girls often refer to there nights as sh-t shows to help exaggerate the fact they only had two drinks and want an excuse to f-ck brad the d-ckhead down the hall. the easiest way to tell someone is new to partying is by them referreing to a night as a sh-t show after 2006.

behavior that is so embarr-ssing that you make sure it doesn’t make it on your facebook page
