Shopkicking
shopkicking involves using gps-enabled smartphone apps, such as shopkick, to check-in to stores and find and scan merchandise; users are rewarded with ‘kicks’ or points that can be used to purchase items. users get discounts and other rewards as well. to put is simply, shopkicking is mobile scavenger hunting, while you shop, that pays.
“hey, why do you keep running around the store like a madman, scanning barcodes with your phone?”
