the new conversational phenomenon of removing several letters of a regular word, thus creating a new shortened version of the word.
shortbonics is creating slang by shortening regular words. “totally” becomes “totes”. “jealous” becomes “jeal”. for example:
taylor: “sandy said my calves look fat in these shoes.”
jessica: “ugh, don’t listen to her, she’s just jeal.”
taylor: “totes jeal.”
