sidetwaked
when a tweeker is stuck, fixated on an aimless project they feel is so important (i.e. picking their nails or taking apart a radio intent on fixing it) they cannot go where they need to be or do what they should be doing.
tweeker: “i’ll be there in 20 minutes.”
2 hours later…
friend: “i thought you said 20 minutes.”
tweeker: “i know. i got sidetwaked.”
(note; no further explaination by tweeker is given to friend because friend often times gets sidetwaked as well. only in the f@#ked up event if it’s an employer and not a friend, an explanation would be deemed necessary.
