Silk Painting
a technique of painting using silk and silk paints. the silk is stretched on a wooden frame and lining paint is used to stop paint spreading and to give a professional finish. silk paints don’t have to be used you can use a variety of paints including water colours and water based inks.
this technique originated in south east asia.
