when someone you trusted, believed was a confidante and shared things with, steals your ideas, connections and concepts for their own benefit. they begin to gain higher status than you and you see your ideas being prmoted by this person and they receive the kudos instead of you.
i realised i was being single white femaled by this guy at work when i saw the boss implementing my idea that i had shared with my colleague. it appeared as though he was stepping into my role and pushing me aside. i was the one eventually made redundant as he took over more and more of my job.
