the term ‘singnosongian’ is an adjective which refers to an individual engaged in, or expressing characteristics of ‘singnosong’ – a person who is highly self-contradictory, and dislikes being reminded of this. these individuals often contradict previously made statements as circ-mstances change, however nonetheless, are referred to as ‘singnosongians’.
this term was derived from ‘the gang’, a sydney-based group of defiant, socially unacceptable individuals. since then, it is beginning to gain popularity across the country, and in canada.
