skappleton
the midwest’s longest running annual ska festival. it takes place every year on a sat-rday in may. it originally took place at lawrence university in appleton (hence the name), but has since been moved to tanners bar in kimberly ( a neighboring town). it includes ska bands from all over the midwest, with many coming from wisconsin. in 2009, for the first time, there was also a skappleton held in minnesota the sunday after the one in appleton. it is 12 hours of amazing, ska-filled fun!
