when you use skype at a particular time each day e.g. for work and a friend knows the time you are due to finish and starts a conversation, keeping you on much longer than intended.
“why are you late finishing today?” response: “my mum skypejacked me at 5.25pm, just as i was finishing my last email for the day. i was there for another 40 mins.”
