someone who goes out of their way to pretend to be different in an attempt to impress people who are not different. all the while maintaining their normalness. basically a human paradox. slatebeasts also unnecessarily use the british english spellings for words despite of solely being a resident of the u.s… example of such behavior; “if your favourite “coffee” drink is a carmel macchiato, mocha, or white mocha then you don’t love coffee. you love sugar”.
