a misguided attempt to protest s-xual abuse/ rape against women by encouraging women to dress like sl-ts.

…this has nothing to do with counseling victims of rape, condemning convicted rapists, or encouraging political sensitivity on the topic of rape.

in 2011, a toronto police officer named michael sanguinetti suggested that to remain safe from s-xual -ssault, “women should avoid dressing like sl-ts.” this logic is akin to “if you don’t want to get robbed, you probably should not walk around bare–ssed with $100 bills taped to your t-ts.” or “if you don’t want your car stolen, then don’t keep your keys in the ignition, stupid!” it’s common sense that with every crime, comes preventative measures to avoid foolish risks…. except, of course, when it comes “womyn’s” issues. since feminists are known to get b-tthurt over any suggestion that a woman should take any responsibility for her own actions in any situation ever, they predictably responded to sanquinetti’s logical (yet s-xist… obviously) remark with a protest known as sl-t walk.

sl-t walks consist of mostly unattractive, usually androgynous, always s-xually ambiguous collegiate sufferers of first-world problems that dress in b-n-r-inducing clothing for the purpose of, you know…. respect and to be taken seriously. sl-t walks are the epitome of irony, since most partic-p-nts are “wimmin” who most self-respecting men would not want to f-ck in the first place, let alone take the time, effort, and risk of prison to rape them.
the greatest example of sl-t walk’s fail and hypocrisy occurred in brasilia around may 2012. during the course of this sl-t walk called “marcha da vadias,” when thousands of “proud sl-ts” were walking around half-naked (and in some cases exposing their funbags and vagoos,) a male had the audacity to do the exact same f-cking thing and expose himself. take note that this man did not approach or -ssault anyone at any time when his d-ck was popping out through his zipper, but of course the protesters responded with monkey sh-t-fits and literally trying to physically harm this purveyor of justice and equal rights.

so, the moral of the story is that any “possessor of the c-nt” has the privilege of breaking every decency law in the book without being oggled at or appropriately called a “sl-t” by her patriarchal oppressors, but any p-n-s-wielder better keep his clothes on (out of shame and modesty) or one of these “warriors of equal rights” will either kill you, or castrate you, or kill you then castrate you, or castrate you then kill you… then claim “almost raped.”

sl-twalk is a gr-ssroots movement against rape culture’s victim-blaming and sl-t-shaming; it has spread internationally. it all started when a toronto officer advised women to “stop dressing like sl-ts in order to not be victimized.” since then, enraged activists have taken to the streets to declare that they are fed up with blaming the victim rather than the perpetrator.

it is not a walk that requires a certain type of clothing. you can wear whatever you want to this event. the people attending the event do not all agree on the idea of reappropriating the word sl-t; however, all who are against s-xual violence and the culture that perpetuates it are encouraged to partic-p-te. it is a powerful march against rape culture and exposes the fact that the word “sl-t” and a woman’s attire are used as weapons to demean a woman’s s-xual agency and make rape justifiable.

if you understood none of this, you’re one of those idiots who thinks sl-twalks is all about prancing around half-nude.
i attended sl-twalk last week not because i want to dress up but because i want to expose rape culture.
