Sniper Versus Spy
1. a situation where two people are intentionally avoiding each other, but at the same time trying to meet up, wanting the other person to think it was unintentional; usually to discuss something after a disagreement or a conflict.
2. a situation where two people are trying to kill each other and are searching for each other while one of them is evading and the other is pursuing. in other words, both are trying to kill each other, while one is running and the other one is chasing.

1. “bob, you’ve gotta stop that sniper versus spy with joe. it isn’t going to help you restablize your friendship.”
2. “don’t try to kill that person because you too will be in a sniper versus spy, and he has contacts everywhere. you’ll be dead before you even think of thinking of running.”
