snotcore
a subgenre of punk that is cl-ssified by the snotty sounding vocals.
s-x pistols, gg allin and the murder junkies, the frantics, and early nofx are good examples of snotcore bands.
a very fast brand of pop-punk characterized by loud nasally vocals and usually some (mostly immature) humor in their performances or lyrics.
examples: nofx, guttermouth, old green day
before becoming somewhat political alt-rockers, green day was the king of snot-core.
