soft alternative
an alternative rock genre that’s quieter than normal alternative rock. kind of like hard alternative(or alternative metal) that’s louder than normal alternative rock. bands like bastille, mumford and sons and bleachers. soft alternative generally leans more toward folk rock, synthpop, new wave and pop rock than hard rock and metal like hard alternative.
soft alternative is really popular in the 2010’s.
