solune
a solune is a symbol used in the book series, zero angel’s war of the ages, representing the eternal battle between the two chief deities of the humes: the mother and the nemesis.
it takes the form of an eight-pointed star. in its most common coloring, half of the center of the star is black and the other half is white, while points on the white side are black and points on the black side are white. a solid white solune represents the mother’s victory over the nemesis, while a solid black solune represents the converse.
val’s lifequest garb had a solune displayed prominently on the chest.
the solid white solune was a gift from their dead mother, and was believed to be a good luck charm.
